About the Author
Marv Lincoln has been involved in the writing game for most of his adult life.
He began writing professionally at the age of 16, and over the years he has written on a wide variety of subjects. He has worked as a newspaper reporter, magazine and book editor, photojournalist, short story writer, and novelist.
His portfolio includes writings on such diverse subjects as computers and software, film, music, art, sports, spirituality, politics, real estate, sexuality, cars, finance, medicine, travel, and pop culture.
Marv wrote and sold two James Bond-style "potboiler" novels in the early Seventies. With his wife, Liberty, he was co-host of a long-running cable TV show in Los Angeles, “The Cosmic Couple Presents.” He now writes extensively for the Internet, and is partners with Liberty in a Sedona public relations firm. They maintain a weblog called “Thunder Mountain Views.”
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, during the Depression, Marv spent most of his adult life in Los Angeles, where he earned a degree in journalism from California State University. He also lived two years in the South of France, working as a correspondent for American and English publications and writing his two previous novels.
Today Marv resides in Sedona, Arizona, with Liberty and with Maggie, their cat since 1996. Marv has been a practicing meditator since 1979, and has spent time in India with a guru as part of his spiritual quest. He enjoys hiking in Sedona's red rocks, swimming, exercising, playing music, reading, photography, and doing nothing.
