About the Book
[Spoiler Alert: Several key plotlines are revealed in the following synopsis.]
Marty and Leela Powers settle in the beautiful, mystical red rock country of Sedona, Arizona after meeting at an ashram in India and traveling the world together. She is a gifted psychic who attracts a following in the metaphysical hotbed of Sedona. He is a writer who runs a controversial website, Sedona Confidential, which blows the whistle on government corruption, personal scandals, and illegal activities of all kinds not covered by local media.
Although the couple enjoys their exciting and frequent lovemaking, Marty carries on a lurid love affair with one of his wife's friends, a psychic named Aura. This raises a question which persists throughout the book: Does a psychic know when her husband is fooling around? And can he keep any secrets from her?
Leela senses some major mischief is afoot somewhere on the planet, so she leads Marty and two friends into a trans-dimensional portal among ancient Indian ruins. All have a profound experience, but Leela learns forbidden secrets and finds that her psychic abilities have taken a quantum leap.
Leela's fame and talents attract the attention of an international secret society, which aims to take down the world's largest nation by tapping the unlimited power of the world's energy vortexes. Against her will Leela is drawn into their nefarious scheme. Only by calling upon every psychic tool in the book does she hope to save the planet from economic collapse: telepathy, channeling, remote viewing, psychokinesis, teleportation, and more.
Marty, the skeptical writer who loves his wife madly but scoffs at New Age "woo-woo," gradually becomes a believer as Leela works her magic — from a mountaintop in Tibet to their love nest in Sedona.
